This one-day course is for licensed riders who want to practice more in-depth riding techniques. This includes risk management, decision making, riding strategies, and rider behavior and choices.
The course includes 3.5 hours of classroom learning and 4.5 hours of riding. The eight on-cycle range exercises provide practice in cornering, braking and swerving.
Riders must have a valid motorcycle license or motorcycle endorsement. Riders must provide their own street-legal motorcycle, wear proper gear (including a DOT-approved helmet, eye protection, full-fingered gloves, jacket or long-sleeve shirt, long pants and sturdy boots that cover the ankle) and must show proof of current insurance for the motorcycle used in the course.
