As we all become more health-conscious, jobs in the medical field
are growing. If you are interested in lab work and direct patient
involvement, training in EKG or phlebotomy can connect you to
a new healthcare career. EKG technicians administer electrocardiograms
for interpretation and diagnosis by physicians. They prepare
the patients, perform the procedure and ensure the outcome. Phlebotomists
work in outpatient and in-patient settings to collect and test
blood. Butler Tech’s phlebotomist course includes classroom and
externship experience. Butler Tech offers programs for EKG and
Phlebotomy, or a combined program to achieve training and credentials
for both.
CERTIFICATION

National phlebotomist credentialing exam given upon completion of the program.
