Butler Tech works constantly to stay connected with our students and parents. This year we will be adding another option for students and parents to receive information through text messaging. This system will rapidly notify parents, students, and employees of emergency situations, school closures, and other critical and non-critical information through text messaging on their mobile phones. The system is completely voluntary and will provide an efficient means of communication for district information.

To sign up:

• Text btalerts to 90808 to receive emergency alert information concerning Butler Tech campuses.
• Text btparentinfo to 90808 to receive updates on events and general school information.

To discontinue service:

• Text stop to 90808 and follow prompts for discontinuing one or all of the streams you have enrolled in.
