West Chester Hospital, local and state representatives and Butler Tech Board of Education members were in attendance. Joe Hinson, President and Chief Executive Officer of the West Chester Liberty Chamber Alliance presented Butler Tech Superintendent Jon Graft with a plaque of recognition and appreciation for Butler Tech’s continued partnership and growth in West Chester and across Butler County.
The Butler Tech Bioscience Center expansion project adds 4,600 square feet of learning space to accommodate more than 350 high school students focused entirely on pathways in healthcare. The $1.8 million dollar addition is the first phase of growth expected for the nine-acre Butler Tech West Chester Campus as the enrollment numbers continue to rise, year after year. Enrollment has increased at the Bioscience Center by 60% since 2015.
