Responsible for cleaning and maintaining hotel guest rooms
to hotel standards.
A. Essential Duties
1)Receive daily room assignment and keys to the assigned section.
2)Pick up daily cleaning supplies.
3)Check all rooms for vacancy using prescribed methods.
4)Clean guest rooms in detail and restock guest supplies as needed.
5)Check all rooms for missing articles or damage.
6)Report any lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper.
7)Maintain positive public relations and attitude with all guest and associates.
8)Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safe working practices and conditions within the department at all times.
9)Dust and polish furniture.
10)Keep storage areas and carts well stocked, clean, and tidy.
11)Polish accessories and metalwork such as fixtures and fittings in guest rooms.
12)Replace light bulbs.
13)Mopping and vacuuming guest rooms.
14)Changing shower curtains.

Able to work in a fast paced environment
Able to bend, kneel, and lift to clean
Ability to push and pull housekeeping cart
