Our US Sales & Service office is growing! We are currently seeking a field service technician to be a part of our team!
The service technician will provide maintenance and repairs to our quality inspection systems for customers located in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The ideal candidate will be ‘hands-on’ in nature with a technical background. This position requires you to travel to the customer’s site and complete annual maintenance, calibrations, operator training, set up of demo systems, and general onsite services. While not traveling the duties will include providing remote support to customers, in-house modifications/repairs, and replying to customer’s technical service questions via phone and/or email.
Applicant should be responsible, independent, self-motived, team player and capable of working without direct supervision from manager. Forklift experience and foreign language skills (Spanish, French or German) are not required but are a plus.

Valid US driver’s license with clean driving history
Car that is in good working condition for interstate travel to customer sites
Valid US passport, with ability to travel to Canada, Mexico, and occasionally Germany (or ability to get a passport within a reasonable time frame)
Ability to travel 50 - 75% (M-F / rare but sometimes on holidays and weekends)
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
Must have intermediate PC and Windows© operating skills
Strong communication skills and public speaking are necessary for customer training services.
