More than 4,000 high school and college students from across the country took part in IBM's "Master the Mainframe" contest.

Among the first 1,500 students to complete part one of a three part contest were from Butler Tech's own Computer and Information Technology class ran by Mr. Thomas O'Neil at Ross High School.

Those students are pictured above and from left to right: Paul T., Nathan S.J., Dylan M., Jereme S., Austin D., Randy B., Jacob D., Dusty S., Jon H.

Mr. O'Neil says "Participation in the contest helps my students meet the IT competency standards for Mainframe computers."

Congratulations guys, keep up the hard work.
