Careers that were once reserved for men in the Construction Trades, Cable Field Installation, Machining, Heavy Equipment Operations, and Law Enforcement are new opportunities for today’s women. Butler Tech’s Orientation to Nontraditional Occupations for Women (ONOW) is an eight-week job-training program for women to explore new careers and prepare for apprenticeships. Our students gain basic instruction in math, blueprint reading, safety, employability skills, and more. They also achieve the confidence to compete in the non-traditional market for higher-paying, high-demand jobs. Training is provided free of charge through the Constructing Futures regional partnership. Call 513-645-8200 for registration information.
