The Auto Collision Technology program is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills needed for careers in automobile dealerships and independent collision repair shops.

Students in Auto Collision Technology will learn to straighten, repair, align and restore auto body components to their original shape and dimensions as well as estimate the cost of repairs. Duties may include parts replacement, straightening damaged body panels, welding, auto glass replacement, auto frame straightening, damage analysis, estimating repair costs and refinishing damage.

Students are prepared to become certified by NATEF/ASE (National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation).

Auto Collision Technology is offered at D. Russel Lee Career-Technology Center.
