Contracted Technology Providers
Butler Tech contracts with a number of technology providers in delivering educational services. In compliance with Senate Bill 29 which became effective on October 24, 2024, Butler Tech is required to make sure any data with these contractors which contains information directly related to a student is contractually protected to the limited use provided by this law, including limiting the selling, sharing or dissemination of this information and prohibiting the use of this student data for commercial purposes.
Below is a list of Butler Tech’s contracted technology providers where educational records as defined by this law are generated. Education records are defined as any records directly related to a student. The technology provider contracts referenced here will affect any education records related to the use of the particular platform or program.

Google Additional Services
In addition to the above software, Butler Tech authorizes the use of additional services provided through Google, for use in the classroom. These services are not covered by the Google Workspace for Education Terms of Service.
