The Senior Ceremony for Butler Tech High School Campuses will be held Monday, May 14, at the Cintas Center.
- 6:30 p.m. – Doors open to family, friends, and guests. Seniors report to Banquet Room 1.
- 7:30 p.m. – Procession begins.
Graduates may park in the C-1 and R-1 parking lots located on the West side of the building and enter the door marked “Kohlhepp Family Auxiliary Gym.” Only graduates and school officials taking part in the ceremony will be permitted to enter the West side of the building.
Guests are encouraged to park in the C-2 and surrounding lots located on the East side of the building and enter through the Main Entrance of the Cintas Center located at the South side of the building.
Parking is available adjacent to the Main Entrance of the Cintas Center for those in need of easier accessibility. A drop-off and pick-up area is also available at the Main Entrance if accessible parking is full. The Cintas Center can provide wheelchairs upon request. Guests in need of a wheelchair should stop by the Guest Services Booth, located just inside the Main Entrance of the Cintas Center.
Accessible seating is available on both sides of the arena. There is a wheelchair lift on the West side of the building at Gate 7 and a switchback ramp on the East side of the building at Gate 8A.
Wearing of Regalia
Each student will wear their gown from their associate school. In addition to the gown, students may wear their National Technical Honor Society Stole, GPA of 3.5 or higher cord (gold), Blood Donations Cord (red), Drug Free Clubs of America Cord (light blue), Military Cord (red, white, and blue), and/or any associate school stoles and cords.
Clothing under the gown should follow the same guidelines as their associate school. Inappropriate dress may result in the student not being allowed to participate in the ceremony.
This year’s Senior Ceremony will be available through Live Streaming on the Internet. Families will also be able to download the ceremony free of charge. The link for the event will be provided closer to the event.
Lifetouch will photograph each student for commencement portraits. Photos will be available online 10 days after the ceremony at events.lifetouch.com. Complimentary proofs will be mailed to graduates. There is no obligation to purchase.
Balloons, airhorns, and other noisemakers are not permitted to be brought into the Cintas Center.
