- Immunizations/vaccines required in preparation for clinical hours
- $50 Complete background check at the LeSourdsville campus in preparation for clinical hours.
- $32 Purchase one set of scrubs. Students will be fitted at orientation and get to keep after the program.
- $88 Purchase NHA workbook from Butler Tech. Student gets to keep the workbook after the program.

Medical assistants play a pivotal role in the smooth operation of healthcare facilities, including doctors’ offices, hospitals, and clinics. Focused on both administrative and clinical duties, this program is designed to prepare high school seniors for a rewarding healthcare career.
Course Work
Our Medical Assisting program is designed to equip students with a comprehensive skill set that seamlessly integrates into their school day, ensuring they are well-prepared for the dynamic field of healthcare.
This semester-long Certified Medical Assistant program combines classroom instruction with hands-on clinical practice, ensuring students gain the comprehensive skills needed to excel.
- No tuition cost. Traditional fees for uniforms and textbooks apply. Instructor will provide pricing.
- Clinical hours are required to complete this program.
- Students must take their academic courses online or at their current high school.
- Combined credentials meet the high school graduation requirement.
- The home school counselor must sign off on the student’s high school graduation plan.
- Students must provide their own transportation and meals.
- Continuing Education opportunities are available through Butler Tech’s Adult Education programming after high school graduation.

Credentials
Upon completion of the program, you will be prepared to take the Medical Assistant Certification (CCMA) and be credentialed through the National Healthcare Association (NHA). Students will also be CPR certified.
