The Butler Tech Business program is a project-based pathway for students who want to turn ideas into action. Explore core business concepts such as economics, marketing, and management while developing skills in leadership, communication, and personal finance. Use technology to analyze trends and share business insights, and practice innovative thinking to generate and evaluate new products or services.
Through a blend of college-level instruction and real-world projects, you’ll personalize your learning, giving you a head start on both college and career. The Business program prepares students with fundamental concepts through hands-on projects and real-world applications. Whether aspiring to start a business, continue their education, or enter the workforce, students gain valuable skills in employability, leadership, personal finance, and entrepreneurship.
College Tech Prep Program:
This program is designed to provide students with an opportunity for multiple on and off-ramps between industry and education.
Through this program, students will have the opportunity to earn college credit through College Credit Plus (CCP) and transfer credits to Cincinnati State to put them well on their way to earning various certificates, an associate degree, or beyond. Students can enter directly into the workforce well-prepared for success or seamlessly fold their certificate into post-secondary education in local college and university degree programs.
College Tech Prep programs provide advanced skills in math, science, communication, and technology.
Student Organization
Business program students participate in DECA, an international association that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. Through DECA, students build business and leadership skills, compete in real-world business challenges, and gain access to scholarships and networking opportunities.
