Butler Tech’s business partnerships are invaluable!
Recently, Bridgestone Tires/Firestone Complete Auto Care/Tires Plus visited the Auto Technology lab at D. Russel Lee to present to juniors and seniors about the auto industry. The students were able to learn from the professionals as well as network for future opportunities with the company.
“These are good-paying jobs with many benefits with a respected name in the industry,” explained Ted Hensley, Auto Technology instructor. “The company representatives shared that they have 30 openings in the Cincinnati area and would like to interview all of my students for potential employment!”
Additionally, Bridgestone Tires/Firestone Complete Auto Care/Tires Plus donated a transmission flush machine, a vehicle fluid exchange machine, and a cooling system flush machine, valued collectively at more than $7500. The representatives will also be sending a corporate trainer to the lab to train the students and Mr. Hensley on the new equipment.
