These individuals demonstrated exceptional leadership, academic excellence, and a strong commitment to their communities, setting them apart as future leaders in the business world.

Lily McFarland, a senior at Northwest High School, has not only excelled academically but has also shown remarkable leadership and dedication to her community. As President of DECA, Lily has led her team to multiple victories, showcasing her business insight and strategic thinking. Her commitment extends beyond the classroom as she has balanced a rigorous schedule of 19 college-level courses with her role as a captain of the tennis team and a dedicated volunteer. Lily’s ambition and hard work have her poised for a promising career in mechanical engineering.

Enyonam Nevis of Colerain High School exemplifies what it means to be a leader both in and out of the classroom. With a GPA of 4.4 and active involvement in advanced Butler Tech business and entrepreneurship courses, Enyonam has already made significant strides in her career preparation. Her roles as Youth Programs Coordinator and intern at notable business competitions reflect her ability to manage complex projects and her eagerness to make a meaningful impact. Enyonam’s leadership within the Youth Advisory Council and her proactive community service efforts highlight her commitment to fostering positive change.

Sara Garvey, also a senior from Colerain High School, has leveraged her academic pursuits in business and digital media to excel in various leadership roles. As president of both Business Professionals of America and DECA chapters, Sara has honed her leadership and organizational skills. Her involvement in community service and her internships, including at a prominent local business, underscore her practical experience and dedication to her community. Sara’s future in sports marketing looks incredibly bright as she continues to build on her extensive foundation of knowledge and experience.

These three young women represent student achievement at Northwest Local School District but also the spirit of innovation and leadership that Butler Tech strives to instill in all its students. Their recognition by the Colerain Chamber of Commerce is a testament to their hard work and the business education programs at Butler Tech that prepare students to excel in their future careers.
