Butler Tech had 275 students attend the conference, competing in a wide array of events. HOSA provides more than 60 competitive events classified into six main categories—Health Science, Health Professions, Emergency Preparedness, Leadership, Teamwork, and Recognition—designed to test academic knowledge and clinical skills for future health professionals. These events include written tests, practical skill demonstrations, and creative presentations, fostering both individual expertise and collaborative teamwork.
Our Butler Tech students demonstrated professionalism and exemplified our organizational norms throughout the conference. Bus drivers and hotel staff openly praised our students and asked how soon we would be back.
An enormous thank you to our HOSA advisors for leading our students on this HOSA journey. They provide our students with opportunities to grow as future health professionals through countless hours of guidance and mentorship. They did a great job ensuring our students were where they needed to be when they needed to be there, while also keeping them fed and supported.
