Congressman Tim Ryan visited Butler Tech for “In-Demand Jobs Week”

Butler Tech hosted Congressman Tim Ryan during the annual “In-Demand Jobs Week” statewide event. As the co-chairman of the Congressional Manufacturing Caucus, Ryan is a leader in celebrating the jobs, industries, and skills that are in demand in Ohio.

“Our doors are always open to our elected officials and business partners to see for themselves the future of our workforce in action,” shared Jon Graft, Butler Tech Superintendent/CEO. “We are especially happy that Congressman Ryan can visit during ‘In-Demand Jobs Week’ and together we can inspire our students about their future in well-paying, in-demand career pathways.”

Ryan toured Butler Tech’s Mechatronics and Precision Machining labs on the Fairfield Township Campus and spoke with several students and instructors on the importance of the training and education occurring at Butler Tech in creating tomorrow’s workers.
