HOSA’s International Leadership Conference is an opportunity to showcase leadership, professional, and technical skills on an international stage. It includes the annual business of the international student organization, educational seminars, workshops, exhibits presented by professional partners, and general sessions that offer recognition and opportunities for all HOSA members.
Butler Tech was proud to send 47 talented students to this event in Houston, Texas, where they competed in over 25 different competitions against more than 10,000 students from around the world. Our students represented the Bioscience Center, Lakota East, Lakota West, and Ross High School, demonstrating excellence in various categories.

- Anatomage Team Results:
- Lakota West Team 1: 1st place out of nearly 200 international teams! Team members Sunitvir Tanunque, Keya Nevagi, Zahra Wasanwala, and Prithika Padmanabhan
- Bioscience Center Team: 15th place
- Lakota West Team 2: Top-20 finish.
- Lakota West Biomed:
- Ishanvi Karthikeyan: 1st place in the National Geographic Test (Human Heredity and Genetics), Top 10 in Biochemistry, Top 10% in Health Care Issues, and Gold level in Barbara James Service.
- Prithika Padmanabhan: Top 10 in the National Geographic Test (Human Heredity and Genetics).
- Sunitvir Tanunque: 5th place in Medical Spelling.
- Bioscience Center:
- Haylee Robison: Top 10% in the Healthcare Issues exam, competing against over 2,000 participants.
- Lakota West Ex Sci:
- Stella Ray: Top 10 in Clinical Nursing.
- Lakota East Biomed:
- Mira Seppi: 1st place in Epidemiology.
