At the 2026 Apprenticeship Day, opportunity was something students could see, touch, and talk to directly.
Industry representatives from across the skilled trades gathered to share what their work looks like day to day, how apprenticeship programs operate, and what it takes to succeed in the field. Instead of imagining possible careers, students had the chance to ask candid questions, hear real experiences, and gain a clearer picture of life after graduation.
Throughout the event, conversations focused on practical topics like training expectations, workplace culture, advancement opportunities, and how apprentices earn wages while developing their skills. For many students, it was a rare opportunity to speak directly with the people responsible for hiring and training new talent.

Many left not just with materials in hand, but with a clearer sense of direction and the confidence that their next step is within reach.
