Jocelyn Gregory, an Intervention Specialist at the D. Russel Lee Campus, was recently recognized as an honoree at The Silent Heroes Awards, presented during the 12th Annual Fundraiser event hosted by 3 R Development. This honor highlights community leaders who have made significant contributions through education, service, and mentorship in the Middletown area.
With over 30 years in education, Ms. Gregory has been a dedicated advocate for student success, spending 13 years with Middletown City Schools before joining Butler Tech, where she is now in her 19th year. She holds a Principal License and a Special Education License for grades PK-12, along with multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Miami University and an MBA from Walden University.
Beyond her role in education, Ms. Gregory is a committed community leader. She is an active member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., where she played a pivotal role in establishing the Upsilon Pi chapter at Miami University and now serves as its Graduate Advisor. Her dedication extends to New Era Baptist Church, scholarship programs, and organizations such as the American Association of University Women (AAUW) and Alpha Delta Kappa, a global honorary society for women educators.
The Silent Heroes Awards event brought together outstanding community leaders and honorees, including Monteen Gates, Rick Hooks, and Dr. Anedra Million, in recognition of their unwavering commitment to service and mentorship.
