The SkillsUSA Ohio State Championships brings over 5000 competitors, business and industry partners, instructors, and vendors together in over 100 contests in all 16 Career Pathways to showcase Career and Technical Education in Ohio. Students compete for the title of best in Ohio in their respective career fields and this year, Butler Tech students continued to shine!

2nd Place Customer Service: Kavin JHally – BT Hamilton – Emerging Media (Hamilton)
1st Place Diesel Equipment: Ryan Grosser – BT Colerain – Diesel Truck & Equipment Technology (Colerain)
1st Place Automated Manufacturing: Dianna Connor (Talawanda), Nick Alexander (Lakota East), and Josh Warren (Lakota East) – DRL Precision Machining
And for the 2nd year in a row winning 1st Place in Firefighting: Evin Smith – DRL Firefighting Technology (Hamilton)
Ryan, Dianna, Nick, Josh, and Evin will be representing Butler Tech at SkillsUSA Nationals in June this year.
