Apprenticeship Day 2019

Students from both campus and satellite schools learned about various apprenticeship programs during the 2019 Apprenticeship Day.  The robust apprenticeship programs presented during the event were from trade unions and local businesses, including the Greater Cincinnati Apprenticeship Council, the Miami Valley Building Trades Apprenticeship Group, Apollo Home, Materials Handlers Inc., and ThyssenKrupp Bilstein.

The goal of the annual event is to expose students to opportunities upon graduation to additional options that lead to a great career. These professions include electricians, pipefitters, operating engineers, construction laborers, plumbers, and HVAC technicians.  In the afternoon and new this year, Butler Tech Adult Education led onsite tours of Lesourdsville and the Public Safety Complex where their program offerings were explained.

A huge thank you to students from Edgewood, Fairfield, Madison, Middletown, New Miami, Northwest, Ross, Talawanda and Butler Tech Fairfield Township and Monroe Campus students for attending Apprenticeship Day!
