Butler Tech closed on April 8, 2024, for Solar Eclipse

On April 8, 2024, Butler Tech will be closed due to the total solar eclipse that will pass over our area. Given that the eclipse will be visible in Butler County, there is an expected surge in traffic and spectators to witness this extraordinary phenomenon.

Following guidance from Southwest Ohio Disaster Services, Butler Tech will exercise a calamity day on April 8, 2024. No students or staff will report. ALL Butler Tech campuses will be closed.

This decision has been made with the utmost consideration for the well-being of our students, families, and dedicated staff members. We are providing this advance notice to ensure that you have ample time to make arrangements.
