Tests are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Required Before CDL License Testing: 

• CDL Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) is required to be completed at least 48 hours before testing. Register for Butler Tech’s CDL Training today.

• A valid physical driver’s license and Commercial Learner Permit in hand at scheduled testing time.

When calling, be prepared to provide:

• Full name
• Address
• Phone number
• Permit number
• Validation date of permit

Payment is due at the time of scheduling and must be made via credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover) or company check. Taxes payable on rental fees only.

What You’ll Need to Bring:

• A valid physical driver’s license
• Your Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP)
• Proof of completed Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) at least 48 hours before test time
• A vehicle that is safe, in good working condition, and meets all CDL test requirements
• A licensed driver to transport you to and from the test

Please Note:

• Examinees must arrive on time and ready to test. Late arrivals will forfeit the test fee.
• Permits must be legible, sealed, and valid. Incomplete or unclear documentation will require rescheduling and a new fee.
• Test appointments cancelled at least 48 hours in advance are eligible for rescheduling without incurring a fee.
