
An Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is one of the first responders on the scene who provides the first line of pre-hospital care. At Butler Tech, this program is designed to help you become an EMT or to earn your EMT Certification as a prerequisite for attending the Paramedic program.
Individuals must be at least 17 years of age to enroll in this course.
Individuals with a criminal record who are interested in obtaining an EMS certification may inquire whether their criminal record disqualifies them from obtaining a certification by visiting the State of Ohio EMS website.
