LEI Field Training Officer (FTO)

This 3 day course will focus on the proper evaluation techniques and training methodologies to be used in assessing newly appointed employees and to document their progress. Additionally, the course will focus on the legal issues facing trainers: motivation, practical exercises, history and role of the FTO, allowing controlled mistakes, and evaluating written reports. The lesson is adapted from the San Jose Model.

LEI Impact Weapon, OC Aerosol, and Handcuffing Technique Training

This 5 hour class will teach you the practical knowledge and skills for using an impact weapon, which can be mastered quickly and performed under stress. You will be provided justification, proper use, and the physiological effects after the use of OC Aerosol. Our tactical handcuffing training will review the proper techniques of handcuffing, including resistive handcuffing.
