Business

The Butler Tech Business program is a project-based pathway for students who want to learn fundamental business concepts and obtain knowledge and skills in business processes, economics, and relationships. Students will use technology to synthesize and share business information while gaining valuable skills in employability, communications, leadership, and personal finance.  Students will use innovative skills to generate ideas for new products and services, evaluate the feasibility of ideas, and develop strategies for commercialization.

Butler Tech Business combines college instruction with hands-on activities to prepare students to be competitive in the global economy. During the two-year program, students can earn anywhere between 9-24 college credits through a variety of courses that can be personalized to their ability levels.

College Tech Prep Program: 

This program is designed to provide students with an opportunity for multiple on and off-ramps between industry and education.

Through this program, students will have the opportunity to earn college credit, through either CCP or bilateral credit articulation, which will put them well on their way to earning either the Business Pathways Certificate or Entrepreneurship Certificate from Cincinnati State.

With either of these certificates, students can enter directly into the workforce well-prepared for success, or they can seamlessly fold their certificate into the completion of an associate’s degree in business from Cincinnati State. These certificates may also matriculate into other local college and university degree programs.
