The Early Learning Center at Butler Tech’s D. Russel Lee Campus is now the East Butler County YMCA Early Learning Center, operated by the Great Miami Valley YMCA. Through this partnership, we are able to offer your family year-round service. We’ve even expanded our hours of operation! That means more convenience for you and more consistency for your child.

Full-day enrollment includes a nutritious breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack.

Butler Tech is an authorized Pearson VUE Testing Center. This allows us to offer testing for certification and select professional licensure in:

In the spring, Café Lee opens for lunch on Wednesdays and Thursdays and boasts a unique menu created, prepped, prepared, and served by the Culinary Arts students at the Fairfield Township Campus. Each week, the restaurant is run by one to two senior students and supported by their classmates from planning to execution. The Culinary Arts program, named one of the top 50 programs in the nation, makes all menu items from scratch including their sauces and bread.

“I’d like to thank everyone that dined with us at Cafe Lee this week.  We smashed our two-day record that had stood for the last 4 years.  I truly appreciate the support for the program and putting the students to the test for their capstone project,” shared Chef Simpson, Culinary Arts Instructor.

Café Lee is just one real-world application for these students. Butler Tech’s culinary program consistently serves more than sixty catered community events each school year, most of which are voluntary for the students and often occur in the evenings and on weekends. Outside of the restaurant, the juniors and seniors manage the Bistro Bus food-truck at numerous festivals and events and compete at the state and national level in culinary competitions throughout the year.

Looking for salon services without salon prices? Look no further than Butler Tech’s cosmetology programs! You will save money while also helping students prepare to meet the standards set by the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology and pass their State Board Exam.
