Students among finalists for Business Professionals of America State Officer positions

Butler Tech and Northwest Local School District are proud to announce that four students in our Financial Services Honors Program at Northwest High School have been selected as top 12 finalists to campaign for State Officer of Business Professionals of America, Ohio Association. Kaleb Amofa, Justin Hauser, Anna Lemon, and Trinity Robinson will be campaigning for a position on the 2018-19 State Officer Team at BPA Fall Leadership Conference in Columbus on October 31.

A total of 10 students from Northwest Local School District and Butler Tech screened for a spot in the top 12 during State Officer Screening on October 8. These students included: Ana Lu Gehner from Michelle Hadsell’s Business Program at Colerain High School; and Kaleb Amofa, Dominic Baldrick, Milli Boni, Justin Hauser, Anna Lemon, Gabby Mahar, Trinity Robinson, Jon Romero, Isaiah Shields from Peter Clark’s Financial Services Honors Program at Northwest High School. We are proud of all our students who screened and wish our four finalists the best of luck at Fall Leadership Conference.

Business Professionals of America is a national organization for students interested in pursuing futures in business. Nationwide, BPA has more than 45,000 members in 25 states and Puerto Rico. In Ohio, BPA has approximately 9,000 secondary, post-secondary, and middle-level members across 18 regions.
