
FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ATTENDING BUTLER TECH CAMPUSES
SUMMER SCHOOL FOR CREDIT RECOVERY & INITIAL CREDIT COURSES
Butler Tech offers a virtual summer school option for students who currently attend a campus-based program (Courses are not open to students who only attend Butler Tech satellite programs at an associate school. The summer school option for incoming students will be by special exception only). Summer school courses are not NCAA approved.
Summer school courses begin on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. All courses must be completed in full no later than Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 12:00 pm. Teacher assistance will be available virtually on weekdays during the summer school window. (No teacher assistance will be available on June 19 or July 4.)

- Financial Literacy (0.5 credit)
Initial Credit Courses
- Health, Physical Education (0.5 credit & 0.25 credit)

- Financial Literacy (0.5 credit)
*Students who need Health and/or Physical Education are strongly encouraged to complete the course(s) during summer school.

- All summer school courses are delivered through the Edgenuity online platform and can be completed from any physical location with an internet connection. Teacher support is available via email and virtual meetings (upon request).

All summer school courses must be completed through the online Edgenuity online platform. Students may complete courses at their own pace and test out of material they have already mastered. (Edgenuity courses are not NCAA approved.)
Students may use their own devices to complete courses at home if they have internet access. Students who do not have a computer or home internet access should contact the Summer School Coordinator, Adam Snoddy, at snoddya@butlertech.org to discuss further options.
All courses, including the final exam, must be completed by 12:00 pm on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.

To register online, parents/students must complete the Summer School registration information (see link below). An invoice for the amount due will be sent to the parent email address provided on the registration form. Parents are encouraged to pay online by following the directions in the summer school invoice.
In-person registrations and payments will also be accepted on Monday, June 16 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Fairfield Township Campus – D. Russel Lee building.
Edgenuity login credentials for all summer school courses will be sent to the student email provided on the registration form on Monday, June 16. Payment must be received before login credentials will be provided.

Summer school courses are $50 for each 0.5 credit course. Physical education (0.25 credit) is $25.

Earn A State Tested Nurse Aid (STNA) Industry Credential
Earn A 12 Point Industry Credential
Students who currently attend a Butler Tech campus program, and are at least 16 years of age, have an opportunity to earn a State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) industry credential.
A state tested nurse aide (STNA) provides daily living services to patients in long-term care facilities and through home healthcare. Activities range from changing bedding, bathing, and grooming patients, assisting them with feeding, and monitoring vital signs.
Earning this credential can be used as a pathway for graduation. Campus students interested in this credential should reach out to Kelly Poole, 513-289-0389.
