Their attendance highlighted the widespread support for Butler Tech’s efforts to enhance career technical education and the importance of these new training facilities.

The Robotics and Systems Automation Program, which begins its first classes on October 7, 2024, is designed to equip students with the skills required for high-demand roles in today’s industrial careers. The program offers industry-recognized credentials, including Basic Programming with Material Handling and FANUC Handling Tool with Roboguide. This intensive, eight-week program is available in both day and evening classes, making it accessible to a broad range of students. The program is offered at no cost to qualifying individuals through state-funded grants, ensuring that more people can access these training opportunities.

Butler Tech is also launching the Industrial Maintenance Technology program, with daytime classes beginning on September 3, 2024. This program features a newly equipped lab that includes learning modules, robots, PLCs, and electrical technologies, providing comprehensive training for aspiring Industrial Maintenance Technicians. Like the robotics program, the Industrial Maintenance Technology program also offers financial aid and grants for eligible students, further supporting access to these in-demand skills.

These programs are strategically designed to meet the needs of local businesses and industries. The new labs, supported by the Super RAPIDS grant from the state of Ohio, provide advanced technologies to enhance education and training, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared for the challenges of the modern job market. Graduates from these programs have already begun to find success, securing positions at leading companies such as YAC Robot Systems and Advanced Engineering Systems, demonstrating the immediate impact of this initiative on the local economy.A modern classroom or lab with several robotic arms, desks with tools, and orange and blue balloons.
