More than 9,000 students enrolled in College Credit Plus at Sinclair for the 2022-2023 school year. CCP is Ohio’s dual-enrollment program giving students in grades 7-12 the opportunity to take college courses for free and earn high school and college credit before graduating high school. Of those 9,000 students, 75 earned their Associate Degree…26 of those are from Butler Tech Mechatronics!
In a special celebration in the Mechatronics Lab, 31 students were recognized for their outstanding achievements through the Sinclair College CCP program. 26 of those students earned their Associate Degree in Electromechanical Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering Technology. Additionally, six students were recognized as “High Credit Bearing Students” and need only one to two classes to complete their degree. These Mechatronics students earned a combined 1,091 credit hours for free through Sinclair College.
