SkillsUSA Regional Competition held at Butler Tech D. Russel Lee

Update

Butler Tech hosted the SkillsUSA regional competition drawing nearly 400 career and technical education students and teachers from across the southwest Ohio region. This event is the first stop on the journey as the students compete for the opportunity to advance to state and national levels of the SkillsUSA Championships.

SkillsUSA serves as America’s champion in empowering students to become proficient professionals and career-ready leaders. With a history dating back to 1965 and has enriched the lives of over 14.6 million members, SkillsUSA addresses the crucial skills gap facing industries today by preparing students for highly skilled professions where demand outpaces supply.

We held 18 competitions on site with 11 competitions being held previously at various locations. Three of them were brand new, hands-on competitions. All competitions gave the competitors realistic and intense experience for their future careers.

Congratulations to the following Butler Tech students who will advance to the state competition.
