Equine Science is offered at the Natural Science Center, located in Monroe.

All Equine Science students are members of The National FFA Organization.
DAILY LAB
The Equine Science program promotes a comprehensive horsemanship program for high school juniors and seniors. This program provides students with a firm foundation in equine breeding, genetics, nutrition, selection, evaluation and management. Students are also introduced to basic riding and training methods and hone these skills with our on site horse herd. The Natural Science Center has state of the art laboratory and riding facilities to provide all weather instruction. This combination of classroom knowledge and hands-on experience prepares students to compete in the economically diverse and exciting horse business.
