DAILY LAB
This hands-on course is designed to give students an understanding of art fundamentals, beginning with the elements of art and the principles of design. Students will utilize a variety of media: pencil, pen and ink, printmaking, digital photography, colored pencil, markers, etc. The main difference between this course and other Intro to Art courses is its commercial approach with many of the lessons either being computer oriented or graphic design oriented. The student will be come proficient with Adobe Photoshop and learn many new art skills.
This course is best suited for students that want to learn more about art and/or graphic design. With the skills acquired in this class you could further your future commercial art career by taking Butler Tech's Commercial Arts program.
