DAILY LAB

The Introduction to Health Science program provides a comprehensive health curriculum to freshman and sophomores with an interest in health. Health Foundations I introduces students to the overall concept health and wellness with a focus on developing skills to prevent disease. Health Foundations II provides insight into the history of medicine, medical terminology, the anatomy and physiology of the human body and the practicing world of healthcare.

• Stress • History of Medicine
• Nutrition • Interpersonal Dynamics & Communication
• Physical Activity • Legal & Ethical Principles within Healthcare
• Growth & Development • The Body Systems
• Substance Abuse • Current Issues in Healthcare
• Cancer • Careers in Healthcare
• Other current health issues  

This course is best suited for students wishing to learn more about health and the healthcare industry. The knowledge gained in these courses will provide a solid foundation for advancement to the Health Science Academy Program at D. Russel Lee or the Healthcare Services Program at Colerain.
