Manufacturing Technology: 3-Year Program

Butler Tech’s Manufacturing Technology program offers a curriculum designed to prepare students for a thriving career in advanced manufacturing. Beginning in the 10th grade, Fundamental Machining Applications, such as calculations, measurements, and the use of machine tools for tasks like cutting, drilling, and grinding, are introduced. By the 11th grade, students advance to Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Technology and dive into the world of computer-integrated manufacturing, gaining valuable insights into robotics, automation, and flexible manufacturing systems.

Personalized Capstone

The Manufacturing Technology program culminates during the 12th-grade year with a Personalized Capstone Experience, allowing students to apply their acquired skills in real-world settings, often in partnership with community industries. This capstone offers an avenue for cooperative education or apprenticeships, giving students the opportunity to master the technical skills required in the industry and experience hands-on, authentic learning opportunities.
